Best In The Movie??

I liked the performances by all 4 leads, except I think Arjun didn't live up to his potential, sadly. I liked the characters, their personalities, relationships and all.
The soundtrack was nice and I liked the feel of the movie: You know including some of the real Indian rock'n'roll bands, the stage scenes, etc.
It was funny too, so it was a good balance. (Ex: The dandia scene & KD singing I Will Survive, haha)
The biggest flaw was that is was way too predictable and the second half was a bit weak but overall it was a good film.

FARHAN AKHTAR HANDS DOWN

I would say Purab Kohli.His acting was flawless and effortless.
Farhan struggled with certain scenes(e.g. When he talks on the phone asking his wife to come back and when he discusses the song that joe wrote with him) but considering it was his debut film, he was totally awesome. Keep rocking.

Overall a good movie. To me in all the music and lyrics were the best parts. Pichle Saath Din lyrics.. couldn't get any better for a guy :D

I was surprisingly not impressed with Farhan's acting. I thought out of the four actors playing the band members, his performance was least good. I just did not believe him as much as I believed the other actors in their characters. I'm afraid he's not much of an actor, but let's see what he does in Luck By Chance.

Now, Shahana Goswami was a total surprise for me. I never heard of her, or had seen her before, but she was really good. Her acting was so natural and spontaneous that she just demands your attention whenever she comes on screen. Prachi Desai was also good in her role, but her role was less "meaty" than Shahana's. I'm looking forward to seeing Shahana act in Nandita Das's directorial debut film Firaaq!
