Donovan Scott and.. Police Academy 2?

Did I miss something? Donovan Scott (Psycho III) was talking about filming the second Police Academy film when the SECOND Psycho came out in theaters. I didn't check out the years the PA films were made.. but his character, as I recall, (Leslie Barbara) was NOT a part of the sequel.. In fact the only real CORE cast who didn't come back was Fackler (He and his wife repised their roles in 3 as well). But am I crazy? I KNOW that he's not in the film.. is he just remembering wrong?

I looked it up.. Police Academy 1 was released in 1983, assuming they shot the SAME year.. I looked it up.. and I am ASSUMING he meant to say the ORIGINAL "Police Academy" which while released in March of '84 (was PROBABLY filmed the previous Summer/Fall). Psycho II was released on June 5, 1983. Seems like just an honest mistake.

I'm pretty sure he said Police Academy not Police Academy 2.I'll have to watch the documentary again.
