Yeah, maybe they were known before Disney took them, but they weren't famous. They became REALLY famous because of Disney. My facts are straight.

I might not know every single detail about their life (hey, I don't like them, why would I want to know about their life?), but I know most of their songs and that's MORE than enough to judge them musically.
Yeah, they could put papers bags on their heads and they would still have thousands of fans, I never said the opposite, learn to read! All I said is that Disney would have never picked them if they didn't look good, so one of the main reasons why they became famous is because of how they look. BUT I know that one of the main reasons why some of their fans like them is because they look good.
Did I ever say that they weren't passionate? No.

Oh, shut up. I'm a real musician. There's nothing wrong with bashing NOT SO talented musicians. Seriously, someone who's been playing guitar for a few months could play their songs easily. Someone who's been playing guitar for a couple of months could write songs similar to their songs. It's really not hard to write what they write.

Ehh, do you know them? Do you spend time with them? No. Maybe they bash some people sometimes.

When did I say that their music didn't inspire you? I just said that there music isn't inspiring meaning that it offers nothing but catchiness. Their lyrics do express feelings, but their music doesn't. You can't feel what the song is about unless you read the lyrics.

Seriously, dude, get over yourself.
I don't like JB's music either, but I don't find it necessary to continually bash them. And let the fans be the fans, whether they choose to delve into fantasies is up to them, and nothing is going to stop them from doing that.
I know what you mean when you talk about real music, you had mentioned MGMT in another thread. But something you fail to bring attention to is that MTV and other JB channels are the places where these kids first get an interest in music. You probably had a few pop groups or artists that got you into music, and your musical taste evolved from there into what it is today. And, just a side note, as much as MGMT and other lesser-known artists are musical geniuses, would it really make you happy if they got more attention? MGMT is a well-respected indie-ish band, I don't think they're looking to go into the mainstream, that's not what their music tells me.
Let me just repeat for the sake of conclusion, nothing will stop JB fans from loving them, so there's really no point in trying to convince them otherwise.
