Do you think he would have eventually married Blanche Ingram ? Or would he have stayed an eternal bachelor,chasing one woman after another until his death ? 

He wouldn't have married anybody. His wife was still alive, and it was impossible to get a divorce if your spouse became mad. He would not have married Blanche Ingram. Blanche Ingram was just a ruse to get Jane to expose her feelings for him.
