This movie for me was about average. After looking at ratings in imdb, I thought it would be crap. It was really good when the movie was serious, but when it came to comedy, much of it was ruined by childish behavior that clearly makes it look lame at times.
Arshad Warsi acted like an idiot, and maybe that was his role. He could have done better if the script allowed him.
Akshaye Khanna acted sane for the most part, and also did good, as well as Amrita Rao.
Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt dancing with a girl their daughter's age was clearly shameless.
All in all, the movie succeeded in showing the real bollywood where acters are casted because of their stardom rather than their talent, and audience like the actors because of their stardom. This is why we have people like Shah Rukh Khan with movies like Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, which was nominated for many awards, even though it was crap. Movies with lesser known actors, but wonderful plot, and talent should have been nominated. Movies like Dasvidania, Johnny Gaddar, and such.
Also the whole copying script also shows what bollywood is like at times. Movies like God Tussi Great Ho, which ripped Bruce Almighty, and Partner, which ripped Hitch. There are many to add to the list.
This movie also did some extra work like going to another country, and following through multiple cameras, which some other movie makes might not have used. The only problem with this movie was that there was no real comedy, but made up out of stupid scenarios, which is childish for many. Aside from that comedy was also harnessed from witty remarks by actors which did help make us chuckle. Overall a good movie which would have been liked by others if Shah Rukh Khan would have starred.
