Amanda Bynes?

What is her role in this movie? It seems like a mroe serious type of movie.

reply

It's a supporting role; that's all I really know. Not sure why she's listed first, but that'll probably change as more info gets filled in. She's done some serious work before, though.

Harry Connick Jr. is a doctor and she plays his assistant.

I'm really excited to see her in this. It's a drama and I'm anxious to see her show a different side than what we've seen. I think she'll do great and it'll lead to more cool projects.

The plot says that the guy goes looking for a cure for breast cancer.. hopefully he goes looking for it down her shirt.

Amanda has shown she can handle serious scenes, but I don't know about a serious movie. If this is a drama and she can pull it off, it could change her image entirely. That would be great for her career.
So any clue when this movie is supposed to come out, and if it's for the theater or TV? I apologize if it said that on the page, I didn't really look.

Yes, her teenage fans need to realise that she needs to expand her range or risk facing a shortened career.

It's made for cable TV, makm76. Dan Ireland, the director, has said on his IMDb board that LP airs on Lifetime on October 18th.

Basic cable = Nothing will be showing. You should know this already.

Si-Fi style.... Film a DVD version with the nudity, and a TV version without it :P

Seriously, are you 12-year-old boys or something? This is a serious issue. People are dying from cancer everyday. And as someone going through cancer treatment myself, I'm really disgusted that you people could come on here and make light of it. Stay the hell off this board!

Nope, sorry, I won't calm down. If you want to talk about that juvenile stuff then go to Amanda Bynes' board. Talking about it here just trivializes the entire point of this movie.

Shut the hell up! As I didn't notice your replys for 2 years, I can only assume the cancer killed you but if it hasn't, Gratz.

Making light of cancer is a way of coping, and helps promote the healing/ getting over the lose of loved ones who have died of it as I myself have had to do.

HOWEVER, acting like you are keeping yourself down doesn't help anything or anyone, even your doctors will and should have told you that.

I am entitled to my opinion just as you are yours, get the hell off the board yourself if you don't like it.
