What band was playing when the Edge mentioned his disdain for pretentious rock groups? It was the one that played immediately prior to Spinal Tap.

No idea, who they were. I'll look up Edgar Winter, but man were they glam... Spinal Tap was genius.

Looked like Edgar Winter with Rick Derringer. Just a guess.
