Never Talk About Sex Again, Jimmy Page, PLEASE

Oh, god. Oh, god. I couldn't bear it when he started in with his hackneyed cliche about a guitar being like a woman's body and then -- more cliches -- about the crescendo of music being like an orgasm.

Ugh, you think he might want to tone it down a little and act like an adult. He's so creative and brilliant musically, you know -- but the way he speaks...time to find some new similes, Mr. Page.

That said, I respect his talent -- I respect the talent of all three men.

^When Jimmy was talking about an orgasm, he was specifically referring to Stairway to Heaven. Now if you don't think that song is orgasmic, then I pity you.

Oh, boy. No one is debating whether or not Stairway is orgasmic. The point is that it's a cliche to call it orgasmic. I was talking about Jimmy Page's diction -- his use of a hackneyed, worn-out expression. I expect more from an artist. Clearly, that simple point was too difficult for you. I pity you.

Still alot of musicians see it that way. They get on stage, the crowd is roaring with energy and the spotlight shines down on you will get you in the mood. One Kiss member Gene or Paul said it was like the first time that ever experienced sex. The sweat, music blending into the atmosphere was an orgasm.
