Dumbing Down America

I get the fact that I knew what I was getting into with a Will Ferrell movie but I don't see any other purpose of this movie than to dumb down America and to distract everyone from whats really going on in the world other than the fact of trying to make money off of this movie in which they failed to do. Obviously this was there intention as it was suggested hidden in a few scenes. Either that or they were trying to tell people to quit Hollywood.

Whether it was a good movie or not, it wasn't a failure. The budget was $50M and it made over $125M in the US alone in the theaters.

I think they made it just to get the band back together really.

Indeed; since the movie was a much deserved rip on cable news dumbing down America.

The RV Scene, the dinner scene, the condom collection, Jack Lime's name changes, and the final showdown with all the cameos were hilarious.
