Steve Carroll Is AWESOME in this!

I had to pause it like 5 times in the first 25 minutes. I laughed so hard I couldn't breath! Steve Carroll is hilarious anyway but here, omg LOL!

Edit - No, this is not a fake account. Yes, this is my only account. No, I don't work for the movie. Yes, I am a female. No, I never collected Garbage Pail Kids. No, I don't have a basement, much less do nasty things there. Yes, I had lots of true friends growing up and still do, and YES I LOVE Steve Carroll and thought he was FABULOUSLY HILARIOUS in this.

People have different opinions on what cracks them up, just because mine differs from yours is no reason to be insulting.

When Brick came out to speak at his own funeral was the first but not only time I laughed until I cried, SO FUNNY!

reply

I absolutely lost it at "I aint afraid of no ghosts".

reply

I'm not even halfway through the movie yet, first time I've seen it, and I've already had an asthma attack from laughing, LOL!

reply

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA I dont have any legs! 93! 93! AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA I'm dyin here!!!!

reply

Really? I thought he was the worst part. Different opinions

reply

nycnftm,
you are correct. he was the worst part of the movie. Every scene with him was so annoying. I actually fast forwarded the parts where he's talking to his "goddess of a woman."
The people that are saying they are laughing and dying are really just idiots. Probably had no friends growing up, collected garbage pail kids cards and whacked off together in the basement.

You're a married man, are you, Mr. Grady? Yes, sir. I have a wife and eh two daughters, sir.

reply

Wow. Tell me what you really think. I can only assume from your name "Dances with women" you're either far too pathetic to get a woman or you're severely homophobic because you hate your own urges.

See how idiotic things like that sound when you say them to people on a board like this?

reply

Do you work for the movie?

I've spoken with several people since I watched this disappointing movie. They all said Steve C.'s character was awful. I agree. The girl from SNL may have been worse.. hard to tell.

Only my opinion..

reply

Carell had a lot of "misses" in this (mostly with the SNL chick) but he had A LOT of hilarious one liners (the wind is really windy, 93, I don't have any legs, I was outside, I ain't afraid of no ghost, happy St. Patty's day to our native american friends etc etc)

Huh? 2nd fake account? No idea what you're talking about. I was just watching this again, and I came back to see if I'd posted about Bricks funeral and see if anyone else thought it was as hilarious as I did, and found my old post. Here's someone saying 1. that my account is fake 2. that it's my SECOND fake account, and 3. that I'm a guy? Wow, dude, you really need a life. Or meds for paranoia.

My favorite part was "there's a black man that follows me everywhere" and then Ron say it was his shadow. I know it's dumb, but it killed me haha

reply

I love Brick in the first film, but I find him annoying in this movie. He has his moments, but it gets to be too much..."we get it. He's stupid."

I blame the director for this, among all the other things wrong with this movie. It's disappointment isn't limited to one character.

Yes, that WAS a good line.

I agree, Brick was pretty much the best thing in this movie (well, that and the final showdown between the news casters).

Now father, you're living in the past. This is the 14th century!

Steve is hilarious, so awkward and somewhat vulnerable , loved the line about the shadow. I felt they made him smarter in this film, in the first all he could muster was 'I love lamp', in this one he is capable of dating and romancing a girl. Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig are the best part of the movie, they should do a spin off.

reply

Brick and Brian's parts were the only saving graces of this movie.
