Ok so it's not as good as the first one but this movie was pretty damn funny. I don't know what people were really expecting.?? You got hilarious one liners from Ferell and the story was very silly as was the first one. The cast with his whole news crew was real funny and there was some silly cameos , especially the news team brawl which IMO was hysterical. I know the 1st was definitely better but for a second film of this type it was good and I'm not one for jumping on the wagon when people say it's the worst movie and give it a one just because it wasn't better than the first one. I gave it a 7 and I believe that the IMDB rating was pretty accurate and maybe could have been a 6.8 but close enough. Just don't follow the IMDB masses and be afraid to put what you think (that goes for any film).if you don't like it then that's all fine and well but THERES no way this movie deserves less than a 3 no matter how much you hated it!

I agree. Just finished watching it and I found myself laughing way more than I expected. I was told this sequel wasn't as good as the first and that maybe true, but it was still a funny movie either way. Sequels are tough, especially for a movie like this with its cult following. Expectations can get so high that even if they didn't try to beat the first and just simply make a funny movie, people wouldn't be able to see that? which I think is the case here.

People like to pretend the first one was a masterpiece when it wasn't.
I don't see much difference between the first film and this one and I like them both.
The only problem is that it's hard to make people laugh nowadays because all the jokes have been done. Dumb and Dumber To is a good example.

I definitely found it funny. My only issue with it was it almost seemed that they said "let's make a sequel and just make it as absurd as we possibly can". So yes, I did laugh quite a bit, but it was nowhere near as good as the first one was.
