When I first saw Slade on Housewives of Orange County I knew I recognized him. I kept expecting someone to say he'd been in show business -- maybe even as a teenager -- but I've seen zero mention. What is it he is supposed to do for a living?

That could be it. Every once in awhile when I watch one of these reality shows I see someone I know I have seen before. I remember one of the early seasons of The Real World seeing a young woman who had acted as a child; when they introduced the 'characters' I expected them to mention her previous career -- no mention. I saw Flavor Flav's show and recognized "Hoopz"; no mention that I recall) that she had been in the public eye before, yet she actually "modeled" online, I think; when I saw Slade for the first time on Housewives of Orange County I knew I'd seen him before -- but again no mention that he'd ever been in the public eye (unless I missed it). I don't know if the viewing public is supposed to be in on the joke that these shows are far from reality (in which case why hide these people are all actor-wannabes) or what.

Practically all the realities shows are fake and the people in them are models or wanna-be actors. They are just there trying to get famous.
