in these movies, why do they always leave ...

the food ,water and guns behind?
and why dont they ever kill the bad guys the FIRST time?
the scene where he raids that kingpins pantry, tobias, was it?
he beats up two guards, only makes sure he kills one. does not take weapons from either one.
he beats up the kingpin, but does not kill him.
the scene where the government guys pull them over, then the kingpin attacks.
after the battle, why not return and take every weapon and anything else of value?
every vehicle must have had some supplies, and everybody had a gun.
he has to fight tobias again because he did not kill him the first time.
when the world comes to an end, come and see me for supplies. i will take over an old walmart and fill it with food water and guns that i picked up after everybody else's battles.
and if i fight you once, i will make sure you are dead.

I noticed that too. Many movies in the PA (Post-Apocalyptic) genre seem to
have been made by people who have no feel for the genre, nor any acquaintance
with survivalism, either in theory or in practice (ie prepping).

Some honorable exceptions are "The Road" and "A Boy and His Dog", as well
as "The Walking Dead" series where Rick Grimes & Co are often seen looting
the weapons, supplies and vehicles of defeated adversaries.
