Los Angeles, why try ripping it a new one every 5 seconds

The main character has practically nothing nice to say about LA, if anything at all. The very reason she moved there was because she thought she could have shallow meaningless relationships.

So she goes there and guess what, she has a shallow meaningless relationship with a photographer who sleeps around. Then she complains!!!

She's bitching to her friend a famous guitarist about LA and he claims not to be into the fame thing, yet reaps all the benefits of the very fame he claims to despise.

Kurt Cobain REALLY did despise the fame, big difference to this character when they sit back at the club and claim he's all grunge rock?! This guy is more like Keith Urban to me, he's after everything he can get while putting on this Mr. nice guy act.

This movie just annoys me no end, because LA is one of the coolest places on Earth, and it's just wasted on her. Here's the thing though, she went there for the very reasons she's complaining about it.

It's cyclical and it's ridiculously annoying to watch.

Badly written.

Lacey Chabert is fantastic at playing the character in the movie, I like her acting immensely, I think she's a wonderful actress. She's the best in the movie by far but the script really lets the whole thing down because her character makes no sense.

I turned it off when one of the band guys starts rolling a joint and the guitarist tells him you smoke too much.

Yes Keith Urban just because you can't handle your piss you think nobody else can smoke now? UNWATCHABLE!!! Turned it off right there.
