Given the plot of Dr. Horrible, it's difficult to imagine how Felicia Day can play a role in any sequel -- but it's not impossible. Fans have proposed Zombie Penny and Robot Penny. I think there's a better idea: Penny's evil twin.

I think she should play Penny's identical cousin Nicole.

shareSaid it somewhere else on here before, but I'd like to see a Batman Forever Mr. Freeze-y situation, where Dr. H has Penny in some sort of stasis tube, working throughout on a way to resurrect her.
Don't know how much you could use her or her voice in that set-up (outside of Horrible and/or Penny's own dreams/thoughts), but could make a nice twist to round out a trilogy if she comes out of of stasis at the end of Part 2 more powerful/evil than Dr. Horrible, placing him in the "hero" roll for the final act.
Pretty sure Whedon and NPH have both hinted there will be a Frankenstein-like Penny.
