Unlikeable Characters for the Most Part Except for Ben

Outside of Ben, no really likeable characters. I find a lot of modern horror/slashers really don't have likeable heroes. For example, this movie, Ben was very likeable but then in horror men don't make it to the end.

I can accept in horror most characters die because they are all bad poeple in some way, but too many fail to make someone the hero that we want to live and does.

Ben could have been the hero we rooted for, rather the protagonist, but he get the usual male death scene.
