This is a German/Canadian made series...blame them, not Americans

Quit blaming Americans for the bad acting, story and science in this mini-series, it's German and Canadian...even the 2 main actors are Canadian. You can tell it's foreign made because of the decade old production values.

Yeah but they got the embarrassing USA style cheesy Presidential speech to the nation right, almost as bad as the one in Independence Day.

lol.. Silly Americans.

Unless it is a 100% produced Canadian series staring actors and using production crews and everything else, then it's American.

Do you consider Smallville to be Canadian because it's filmed here as well?

Having always lived within earshot of Canadian radio, (CBC, etc.) and having been to Canada many times, I've always been under the impression that Canadians are considerably better educated than Americans, because they talk like they are. Could I have been wrong all this time? I really doubt it.

Of course Independence Day was made by a German...

BLAME CANADA! BLAME CANADA!
With all their beady little eyes
And flapping heads so full of lies
BLAME CANADA! BLAME CANADA!
We need to form a full assault
It's Canada's fault!

reply

director and writer are both US-American.

Seriously? I don't think Canadians would get the name of the geese wrong. It's Canada Geese not Canadian Geese. That mistake sounds purely American, not that all of us make that mistake. Besides Canada has made some good shows, I like what they did with Heartland, I like it better that it's not in Virginia. Not sure of their other shows, we don't get many shows from other countries, but we should.

reply

americans come to film in canada because its cheaper = canadian made film.
