Yes, I saw it on Cable TV while in Argentina but have not been able to rent it or buy it here in Miami, Florida. NetFlix has put an Saved Status and indicated that there is no information when it will be available.

Nice movie. Sure, it feels like a TV movie and no one would be surprised that it's on the Hallmark Channel. But the acting is pretty good and the story moves along. Most of the characters are appealing. I went through the entire movie and not once did I think I was watching Daniel Jackson. Well, maybe once or twice, at the beginning.
I saw Michael Shanks in a Syfy Original Movie, where he played a dim-witted fellow battling a giant snake. I kept thinking that he took that part to break out of the stereotype of playing smart characters like Daniel Jackson. I didn't get that sense at all in this movie. His character seemed real, like a regular man with a decent heart. He had difficulty balancing the demands of work with those of his family at first.
Would I go out of my way to track it down? Hmm, tough to say. Michael Shanks' fans will probably enjoy seeing him in a different kind of role. It's not an action movie though. It's a good TV family drama, but that genre won't hold everyone's interest, especially some of the hardcore sci-fi/Stargate fans.
