What's the best juicer for leafy greens?

I have a Champion juicer and unfortunately, it sucks at juicing leafy greens. They released an attachment last year but it's gotten terrible reviews so I'm not dropping the $75 for it.

I'm thinking that maybe I will get a used juicer at a local thrift store or on Craig's list just to leafy greens... I don't want to spend a lot since the Champion is great for all else.

I believe for leafy greens a masticating juicer ( something like an Omega J8006) would be best. However, my Breville 800 does a good job.

The champion is a masticating juicer and did a terrible job of juicing leafy greens. It also broke on me five days into the fast! Man, was I pissed. I had to run out and buy another one. Went with the OmegaVRT 350 which is an auger style juicer but excellent at juicing everything even pitted cherries. I highly recommend it. It got me through my 30-day fast which ends today. Hooray!!

Awesome! How do you feel after the fast?

I think the Omega 8006 is the best masticating style that I know of. My only gripe is the feeding tube is too small, so you have to cut even small apples into 1/4 pieces or smaller, where the conventional centrifugal juicers like the Breville, Jack La Lanne and Champion have larger openings where you could put in a half an apple no problem.

For greens though the Omega 8006 gets the most yield from greens and also with the super low 80rpm operation of the strong motor, it provides the highest quality juice with the highest vitamin & mineral nutritional content.

It does take longer but it is worth it for your health.

I use a Green Star Elite Juicer I got off Amazon a few years ago and I'm happy with it. It's a masticating juicer. I once read masticating juicers don't add as much air or heat into the juice so it will keep longer.
