My blood pressure is down 30 points
In the general discussion of overall good health, I wanted to just drop in and let others know about some success I had recently. About a month ago I had a sleep study done because my doctor suspected I had sleep apnea. I was on two different meds for hypertension (high blood pressure) and STILL my pressure averaged 165/100.
Anyhow, the sleep study showed that I was stopping breathing about 118 times per hour. I was immediately put on a CPAP machine and have been using it consistently for the past month. Without changing anything else, my blood pressure (which has been checked four times now since I started CPAP therapy) is now averaging 135/80!
My systolic is down 30 points, my diastolic down 20 points!
If you guys are thinking you may have an issue with sleep apnea, I highly HIGHLY encourage you to have a sleep study done. It could save your life.
