Couple of questions

Great movie, but a little too fast to grasp it in entirety.

1) Why did they decide to postpone UN voting? ( after scheduling it 2hrs earlier which seemed reasonable - to have a vote before media makes public the leaked paper which says war is bad)

2) What was the point of Malcolm's phone call to BBC where he pretended to think that all the fuss is about the wall? ( he was holding Minister's aide by hand that scene)

tHANKS!

1) The intelligence gathered by the British Secret Service hadn't arrived yet, so they are forced to postpone the vote so that they have enough time to receive it, and then edit it.

2) I can't quite remember this scene, so I'm not entirely sure, but certainly it has to do with Malcolm Tucker diverting the media attention to the falling wall situation, trying to make this is more important news than the not-entirely-clean kind of politics they are practicing in the UN.

Answer to the 2nd question is - Malcolm is trying to get the media's attention to the Wall news, so that he can get the minister fired.
