Guys, I made a statue based on the descript in 'call/c'thulhu', please let me know if the above links work o.k., or if I messed up and how to correct it-
if it shows, let me know what you think-

LOL...and what, my friend, *could* show the true horror of great C'thulhu?? Hey, I'm just interpreting my dreams...I was so inspired by the visions I had, I just had to sculpt it....did I mention my birthday is April the 2nd?
"Sick Puppy"....hhmmm... I'll take it as a compliment...

Tomorrow I descend into the sewer cleanouts in the swamp to look for a model for my 'Pickman's Model' Painting.

I'll say 'Hi' to my friends for you....
Thanks, A

p.s., if have not already, check out the film 'call of c'thulhu', made recently but created in the form of a classic german expressionist film , b/w silent, etc....very creepy. Incredibly, it follows the book exactly!

That's a great statue!!!

My vote for best Lovecraft movie/adaptation is DAGON.

It just totally creeped me out with all those semi-fish people, but the ending was almost ... happy.

I saw it several years ago on TV, so I don't remember the ending exactly - other than the guy swimming away
with his fish-girl princess, and he didn't seem particularly miserable about it.
(since he was only following his "destiny")

Or am I remembering it wrong? lol

Anyway, I think your statue captures the aquatic essence of The Old One very nicely.

Hurrah!
