I sometimes miss things... *SPOILERS*

The villains were apparently poisoning the people who knew too much. That seemed like an odd approach if they were prepared to also shoot them. It just seems like putting someone who knows too much into a position where they have nothing to lose if they blab, in fact it's the only way to make their own death meaningful, is just counterproductive. Again, it's possible I missed something.

I still enjoyed the movie, mostly due to strong performances especially from Gibson, Winstone, and Huston, and just a general interesting moral concern.
