Alan Partridge and factual inaccuracies
Very entertaining film, but did anybody think Sheen dipped in to Alan Partridge at times?
I also couldn't understand why things that are fact were changed. For example, when Clough and Revie appear on TV following Clough's sacking by Leeds Revie refers to him as Brian, saying "I wouldn't stoop so low as to call him Clough" (Clough himself referred to the former Leeds boss simply as 'Revie'. In fact, Revie did exactly this, referring to him as 'Clough' stating "he calls me Revie som I'll call him Clough" or words to that effect. This drew the cheeky schoolboy caught being naughty from Clough.
Any reason why they would change this?
