Excruciating performances

Thank goodness PSH was here to save this movie. Christopher Walken was kind of underused, and he was discrete at the most. But the others... they compound the fact that they can't act with the horrid human beings they have to impersonate, so the result is pretty painful. By the way, it had been a long time since I saw such a bad looking cast (does Catherine Keener sport fake teeth?).

The movie is ok, but I feel bad for the poor tortured soul who wrote this screenplay. If they had to deal with people anywhere closer to the characters shown in this movie, then they must have a real bone to pick with mankind. Better cast more carefully next time too.
