Did anyone else ...
Hate the lead character for what she did? She is the epitome of selfish. Maybe I'm standing up on a soapbox, but ruining your son's life and then your family's on the day of your son's funeral is just ... unbelievable. Plus, I really didn't think she was in love with Antonio; in lust maybe. Did anyone else have their heart break a little for her husband when he took the coat off her, realizing that his affection had been in vain?
I'm not exactly sure what this movie was trying to achieve. Is it a portrait of self-absorption? The power of lust? Did Emma (or Kitesh) really learn anything, or will she just allow her horny naivety to run her life?
On the subject of the family, it's unfortunate the only one that wasn't a total jerk died. The scene at the airport with the lesbian daughter publicly degrading her boyfriend who had bothered to pick her up and buy her flowers, and the other women thinking that this was okay was just so cruel.
Don't get me wrong, this movie is very good. Esthetically, I had three problems, though. I don't understand Tilda Swinton's physical appeal (call me shallow if you must), and going off to her lover in a track suit is just plain wrong. Plus, her mother in law's plastic surgery nightmare was very distracting.
