Tilda Swinton was 49?!

She looked pretty in the earlier part of the film when they feminized her almost beyond recognition.

After the transformation she was as unattractive as she usually is, and by the very end, so haggard it was frightening.

I agree with the OP. Swinton is in a class of her own. I love that she's not plastered in make up for awards ceremonies.

I liked her upper crust female look in the beginning. The close up of her subtle eyeliner in soft colors, the longer hair, the tailored clothing. She looked nice.

She always does, she's a truly stunning woman in a class of her own.

Most 49 year olds look pretty good with a thousand dollars worth of makeup and hairstyling.
