OK. Now I've watched Teorema (1968) and couldn't help noticing some vague parallels between the stories. Wealthy factory-owning families turned upside down by the arrival of a seductive stranger.

I wonder whether the writers of I Am Love were influenced by Teorema.

Yep I thought of Teorema too...It needed a Stamp I thought and a Pasolini. But the film is enjoyable in spite of its own air of self-importance.
