Has nobody actually noticed...

...this movie is either a remake or a ripoff of the 1977 film "Planet of Dinosaurs"? Like this movie is exactly that one just with CGI and less walking.

reply

Didn't see that one.

I just did and oh boy.

I can usually put up cheese but this was like some Cheez Whiz that had been sitting in the sun too long.

The best part, if true, is that the captain's character had to have his voice dubbed because his Canadian accent was too strong.

Is it stopmotion or puppets for the dinosaurs?

reply

Imagine it with Jim Henson's Muppets and you nat have a blockbuster

reply

Stop motion. Here's a video of some clips:

Synopsis of Planet of the Dinosaurs:
> A space-ship gets lost and is forced to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet.

Don't you just how stupid movies were, and actually still are. Like space is a big sea or highway, and the are islands or planets one can just pull into for a rest.

Very few movies portray the reality of what space is like, and what life aboard a spaceship or space colony would be like. I bet Elon Musk would never take the time and risk and discomfort to visit his Martian Space Colony should he ever be able to get one build. William Shatner would be more likely to, if he could fit.
