In my opinion, Silver is the most terrible of them all, hold annoying minor characters. I mean, none of the main characters exactly know what it means to be a good friend or anything along those lines but Silver always acts all high and mighty even though she's not only been involved with all of her friends' exes but even cheated with a bunch of them.

Its such a shame because I loved her in the beginning, but from the point where she cheated with Navid when he was with Adrianna, and her crazy baby behavior in the last season made me crazy! She was so selfish and overdramatic aaaalll the time. Ever heard about freezing your eggs??!! The writer ruined Silver. No one would be friends with someone like her when she slept with all their ex boyfriends...
shareI couldn't agree more. She is the worst. Her holier-than-thou act is unbearable when she's been with exes of all of her friends. With Liam, it wasn't even made an issue with Annie. And then the baby storyline, I mean come on, Teddy was willing to be her sperm donor and later kindly offered to be a *beep* father to the kid and she wasn't even gonna let that be an option. Silver is as obnoxious as she is pretty. God, I hate her.
shareI'm currently on a rewatch kick and I'm so happy to see this thread because I can't stand her either! When the show was airing I remember having all of this annoyance with her and it seemed like everyone else loved her so anything I said was met with anger and excuses for her behavior.
I mean people thought that Annie was some holier than thou judgy person?! Ha no Silver was cold and stuck up since season 2 for me because of the way she was portrayed in season 1 as this cool character who detested the high school girly gossip routine especially with the Naomi incident, and then to see her turn on Annie when Naomi was letting her party diss her and accuse her of sleeping with Liam disgusted me. Silver clearly didn't believe that Annie did it and yet still was Besties with Naomi. Even after it being confirmed that Naomi was sending that naked photo of Annie around school, Silver still was hanging out with Naomi and actively not talking to Annie when she was her most loyal friend in season one. It's just the kind of petty behavior Silver in season one would have hated and she's totally abandoned that. Ugh.
I do have more examples of course but I wanted to offer a reason from earlier on the show since plenty of others have expressed the obvious baby storyline and the Navid/Adrianna love triangle.
I thought this was terrible friend behavior too. Adrianna I could understand to a degree, since she and Naomi were best friends in Season 1. But as you said, Annie was such a good friend to Silver and Silver just dropped her after the prom incident. I honestly feel like Naomi was social capital for Silver and Adrianna in Season 2. They followed her around like groupies..
