Sad that they ended the series with Silver having cancer

How can they give Annie a happy ending and do that Silver
Silver has just gone down a baaad road ever since she started sleeping with Navid while he was still with Adrianna and just got worse and worse. At the end she was the most annoying and hated character and I honestly didn't even care what happened to her. Sad, but true
shareI like that it wasn't a neat and tidy ending where everyone has a happy ending like most shows. I also like the message that 90210 often has about not giving up like when Adriana almost committed suicide at the end of season 3 after all the awful things she did but decided to become a better person instead. The ending with Silver is similar, that after all the times she cheated and then got cancer, she still didn't want to give up and wanted to fight it.
I'm real when it's useful.
Look, Silver is my least favorite character after Dixon (I HATED HER). However, I never would wish for her to have cancer. That is devastating. I would more wish for her to face repercussions for her actions instead of her friends treating her like an angel and pushing her problems under the rug. Adrianna might have been an evil character who was hated but she was always rightfully punished for her bad decisions and Silver never was, which made me feel more sympathy for Adrianna as a person. I still would not want Silver to go through something so tragic. I just would not like her to get away with so much all the time because it is incredibly unfair considering she has it easier than all the other girls even when she screws up and treats people like dirt.

shareThat is exactly what I wished would happen to her because that is exactly what would happen in real life, like you said. In the situation with Silver having an affair with Navid, there is no way that the group of friends would have taken their side, no matter how horrible Adrianna was acting. It would have ruined the friendship. Most people get disappointed and upset when their friends have affairs like this and betray the ones they are in a relationship with, so it always made me upset when they tricked both Silver and Adrianna into both getting into the plane when going to Mexico and acting like it was not a big deal. I mean, is this a drama or a comedy? They were acting like it was not as serious as it actually was.
