Beulah Land

Meredith Baxter and Lesley Ann Warren starred in a TV miniseries called "Beulah Land" back in 1980. They played sisters Lauretta and Sarah. Lauretta (Baxter)had a child by the man Sarah (Warren) loved. She gave the baby to Sarah to raise as her own and took off to have a career as an actress. Years later, Lauretta returned to claim her child, now almost grown, and was rejected. The girl said that Sarah was the only mother she wanted. Rather similar to this movie.
