unsatisfying ending [spoiler]
It bothered me that the "mother" hadn't at least told Kate that she was adopted sometime back when she was a child, even if she didn't reveal who the real mother was. People these days think that children deserve to know that, and certainly, adults do. In real life, Kate would have wondered why she didn't look like the rest of the family, etc.,although in this movie, Kate conveniently looked more like her adopted mother than like her real mother. Telling the truth would have been upsetting, but these are all adults, and they needed to deal with it. It seemed more like a "One Life To Live"soap opera ending from an earlier era rather than a contemporary viewpoint.
