They make a show about aircraft carriers and they keep playing music that sounds like it should be in a reality show about retarded drug-addicted cowboy teenage hookers or something. I mean, anything but music you would put in a show about an aircraft carriers! THIS IS TERRIBLE SO FAR!!!!
I only just stumbled onto this show recently but I am very glad it is an examination of the humans on board the ship. My teenaged daughter has expressed interest in the Navy, and my philosophy is that I will support her decision so long as it is an informed decision.
This documentary helps expose many of the real stresses of military life better than many other shows I have seen.
I look forward to watching them with her this summer, and having the conversations to follow.
Just beware that some of the younger 'stars' definitely played up their roles. This doc was a microcosm in terms of reality. In light of wanting to see more of the human side of things the production sought unfettered exposure which was granted. You just have to read between the lines on some of that. Some of those kids were definitely acting out. Says me a Chief stationed on a Carrier.
You are taking a dump and they call GQ do you pinch it off or finish your business?
