Disappointing.....plu s no nudity!

Wow. tmack, you are about as deep as a puddle. You can throw in a "LOL" at the end, but you really do think the worst thing about this movie was the lack of tits, don't you? Oh, but the scene where you thought she might get beaten up or abused further was a "good moment".

Too bad you were too busy jacking off at your computer, because you missed a very nicely detailed understated drama about the reality of the main character's situation, without once falling into melodrama or cliche. Yes, she was manipulative, in the face of exploitation. I imagine you completely tuned out during the 2 scenes with the lady at the bank, which was the whole point of the movie. She got herself into this trouble and she is (reasonably and foolishly at the same time) looking for a little understanding and compassion. When neither is forthcoming, she will do what she must to get by, even at her own expense. She adroitly walks a fine line until she can no longer do so, whether that is her own fault or not.
How you could possibly miss the fact that she loved her dad, and how he symbolized to her what happens to a person who plays fair and DOESN'T manipulate their circumstances, is a head-shaking wonder.
