This is probably the most realistic film I've ever seen.
I can't remember a film that felt more like real life than this.
The acting was so realistic, it was just like people I've been at school with....no different to real life.
As real as acting gets.
Far superior to the highly acclaimed film "Boyhood".
Seeing that Boyhood was a terribly overrated film...I'm gonna have to agree with you. Lol...even though I think it's safe to say that Boyhood and After School are two entirely different films with radically different tones. But still, you could learn a lot more from watching After School.
shareDisagree viciously with this. This film was intriguing but ultimately fell flat for me, whereas Boyhood is one of my top American movies of the past decade.
I don’t see much connection between the two, either... surely Afterschool is going for a Michael Haneke feel (and failing in my opinion).
