Well, I've never been good at summing things up, but this is the best I can do:
KHR is about Tsuna, a "no good" boy who finds out that he is the heir to the Vongola family mafia. A mafia hitman, Reborn, (Reborn is a baby, btw) comes to tutor him in the ways of the mafia and make sure he turns out to be a good boss. Tsuna doesn't stick up for himself, so whenever Tsuna is regretting not doing something, Reborn shoots him the the Dying Will bullet, which makes him able to do what he was regretting. The first few story arcs are all about Tsuna's antics with Reborn, basically. The story doesn't really develop much plot for about the first 50 chapters of the manga. However, the stories are all fun, and some of the things that happen earlier that seem pointless end up having relevance in the later plot developments.
Sorry I'm really bad with summaries and such...KHR is really good, though, IMO. It's a lot of fun to read/watch. I don't think a lot of what happens is supposed to be taken too seriously, so if you want a fun anime/manga to get into, this is a good series. You should give it a try. Once it reaches the more developed story arcs it gets really really good. (even though I liked the first ones as well, even if they were just kind of filler)

Thank you bale! Well as funny as it seems I first got interesting in this anime when I found this youtube video and thought it was shounen ai or something so now I feel really embarrased! Anyways this seems like an interesting manga to read on my days on which I have nothing to do! Haha! Actually, I found out about it from a friend who's really into yaoi, and she ships a lot of couples from KHR, so I decided to give it a try. I still have hopes that YamaGoku will one day be cannoned. (eheh)
And as for Reborn, well....he's not exactly a baby. I don't want to spoil too much, but he wasn't always in the form of a baby. (even though we've yet to really see what adult!Reborn looks like) But if you like shounen-ai then you'd probably like this. (I know I do) Nothing's really cannon, but it's REALLY easy to ship couples. (REALLY easy)

After finding out that this manga was published in Shounen Jump I kinda lost all hopes that any characters would be paired together even slightly hinted at. You know all the fanboys T__T. And also from what I understand now this is really popular in japan so cant lose all the readers eh? :p blah.
OMG well I kinda skimmed through some Yaoi Doujinshis of this manga and well Reborn is so fawking hot looking!! *ahem in his adult form* So I was wondering if maybe he really wasnt a baby of sorts. Good thing I was right! *thumbs up*
Ok another question I cant get from wikipedia. Why does Lambo or Rambo look like some kinda of cow when he is young and when he is older he is more humanized??!?!?!?! Ok maybe now I am looking to much into this! haha I have been told not to take this anime serious but its just too dang hard not too!

Yeah, don't take it too seriously lol.
Well, all I can guess is (besides that Lambo just seems to like cow print) he had really fluffy hair as a baby. (I did too) (I still do, actually) Then as he grew he learned to comb/straighten it a little. But none of the babies really look too similar when they're older.
And yeah, I doubt anything will ever be cannoned...BUT.....I totally see some innuendos. Maybe that's just because I'm a fangirl, and I pick up on little things (but you have to, or else it's depressing) (at least to me) but there is a LOT of possibilities for couples. And doujinshi/fanfiction helps.
But even though there *probably* (I haven't given up hope yet, I really believe that YamaGoku WILL be cannoned) won't be any couples cannoned, it's still fun to read. (especially picking up on all of the implications haha)

I think Sometimes the most subtle things are better than the outright graphic scenes! Especially when it comes to shounen ai! lol I'll try to read it till the end to see if your predictions are right! *crosses fingers*. Though the manga seems awfully long <__< I think I read on mangatraders.com that its 27 volumes and still going long. O_O ahh!

Yeah, it's kind of long....but when I found out about it I was able to read it all in 1 day lol. (I didn't have anything else to do though...) And I agree, I prefer something that's subtle. Once you get caught up, it's really easy to keep track of the new chapters coming out and stay on top of reading it.

Gokudera is definitely my favorite character of the series right now.
He's cool, and his Box-weapon power totally PWNS everything else.

Well the K is for Katekyo which (I *think*) means something like "home tutor." (not sure though)
And why it isn't more popular I have no idea. It's one of the better shounen series, but there aren't many fans for it yet. (even though there are quite a few fangirls for it lol) (like me.....)
