Performance

Was anyone else struck by Castro's performance as a Pacino dead ringer? He was just ferocious the way he commanded everything with just a look. Very terrifying. I saw another comment that referenced "I Stand Alone", great comparison and a very similar protagonist. I thought the dancing was meant to be off and exaggerated, and gave a very creepy vibe.

Given the budget and guerilla styly filmaking, I was impressed. Definately sticks with you after its over.

WOW. I just finished the film and have to totally agree with you.
What really stunned me now was the comparison with I stand alone (it's even part of my signature so I feel cheesy to even post here, hehe), it's my favorite film and YES, it is similar.

That is also said in the Trivia section and in the New York Times review:

Castro's performance was one of the redeeming features of this film. He exudes intensity.
