Whats better Resistance 1 or Resistance 2

Now I can go on and on with this

RESISTANCE 2 clearly the better game for many reasons

-No health just regeneration

-More Guns

-No crappy flamethrower that kills you

-better graphics

-Way better story

-And clearly a challenging game.

Resistance 1
why it doesnt win

-You have health

-Only 10 weapons

-Bad graphics

-Boring cutscenes

-Not enough characters

-And it was pretty boring and was harder than 2

In many respects I prefer resistance 1.

I thought the story in 1 was much better, the naratives and picture cut-scenes flowed nicely and kept you informed as well as fleshing out the back story. R2 required you to find and read all the intel documents, which while entertaining, did mean that there was not as much holding the story together actually in game.

I also liked the health system from 1. Yes you needed to find that chemical goop to heal yourself, but this (to me) was better than just miraculously healing for no reason. Not denying that a person cna heal over time, and the faster metabolisim would help with this, but surely something has to fuel that healing process? The body needs something to spur it on. Yes, I know I am asking for a little realisim in a scifi game, but is it really to much to ask for? That in order to heal (and therefore replenish the energy the body uses) a person has to eat or something?

The weapons system was better in R2, only being able to carry 2 weapons instead of everything, more realistic. Although it would have been nice to have the ability to do this once you have finished the game. Because it was fun in R1 to run around trying to only use 1 specific weapon all the time, or just to have the choice to try something different when you felt like it.

Yes, the graphics were better in R2, but thats not enough for me, I need a good game to go with it or all you have is a flashy and nice looking piece of cr@p.

Overall, R1 has a lot more replay value for me, I only use the multiplayer option on R2 and have no interest in replaying the main solo campaign at all.
