Why dose't Disney Nature release their films in IMAX? These documentaries would look beautiful in IMAX. If you can release movies like "Mars Needs Moms" and "Cars 2" to IMAX I have no idea why Disney Nature films get passed up for IMAX.

IMAX isn't just a release format.
To fully benefit a movie has to be filmed in IMAX.
That requires a big, bulky, expensive camera, and no one wants to drag that around the Savannah.
It's also very noisy, which wouldn't sit well with cameramen trying to sneak up on lion close-ups.
A few films not filmed as such were IMAX releases (e.g., I Am Legend), but the result is underwhelming.
