Anybody know whether this is an original score for the movie or an actual song? I swear I've heard it before but can't place where.

It is from Believe / Josh Groban - Polar Express, that's why it sounds so familiar (or a variation of it at least). http://www.warnerbrosrecords.com/polarexpress/
