He's allergic to the suit?? Like, I get that it's a plot device, but does anyone have any experience with anything like that? What is there to be allergic to on a giant chicken suit??

Sorry if it seem stupid, that was all that went through my head when I was watching the movie...

there would be a lot of materials that are a part of the suit that someone could be allergic to. People can be allergic to anything.
