No ending?

I saw this first on either netflix or Crackle, can't remember which. I thought it was a movie, and it was sort of funny, and interesting enough to keep watching it - it wasn't going to win any prizes, but it was entertaining - until the end, excuse me, the LACK of an ending - the storyline hit a sharp turn, and instead of going down it, it just stopped, leaving no conclusion, just basically leaving you hanging. I thought it was a problem with Crackle or Netflix cutting the movie short, but after learning it was a series, I can now guess that it simply was discontinued after the 1st season, leaving everyone hanging - what a bummer, it was amusing ... oh well, mystery solved!
