The "gaseous creature" is 'Vapor', when she engulfs you in various coloured smogs, use thunderclap (light melee + heavy melee) to stun her, then pound her like your normally would to any other enemies. Repeat this process until she's beaten.

'Ironclad' you have to run away from, whatever item he's holding eventually breaks & stuns him, now this is your window to attack. Again, repeat this process until he's beaten.
