I agree very much with you...but, IMO, every odd ongoings in this psycho/drama is, actually, director's desire to make "Almodovar/Lynch/Dardenne bross" atmosphere. Think that we have it here, I was so confused, but at the very end, when VERO asks about rented room...ouh, fantastic thriller moment after so much slowness. Cheers, Oskiros.
I´ve watched the movie 4 year ago, I don´t remember details.
I know Martel is a very well know director out of Argentina (Specially in France), but here in general the critics love her and the audience ignore her.
I´ve watched every Martel´s movie but in my opinion the best is "LA CIENAGA" the first one. No so great, but interenting.
Fron this movie for me each movie is worts.
I love Almodovar/Lynch/Dardenne bross style, but don´t like Martel, probably because I have 0 (zero) feeling with her characters.
