When sound affects take over

First of all I want to say that the plot DID have potential, HOWEVER, I don't feel there was enough depth to the movie. The characters were paper thin, the acitng was like as painful as gargleing noises. you could actually hear the actors emotions change with an audiable click....at least you COULD IF THE BACKROUND NOISE DIDN'T DROWNED OUT EVERY SINGLE LINE IN THE FILM! I mean backround noise should be that....BACKROUND!!! not sounding like the actors are drowning in a pool of left over sound affects from a GOOD movie that they decided they didn;t want the sound affects because they were horrible i mean come on! you should at least be able to hear a GUNSHOT OVER THE MUSIC IN THE BACKROUND! *sigh* but i do have top admit the make-up affects where tantalizing and pretty creepy and while the directing seemed like somebody watcha few sam raimy flix adn tried to knock it off, it wasn't the most HORRIBLE directing i've seen.
