Something was very wrong with my TV, DVD, or the way this movie was edited, because I could clearly hear the scary music and sound effects, but the dialogue was inaudible at times. I understand that Dana and her brother thought Jeffrey killed their father because he had a Rosary...were they mistaken? If Jeffrey killed their father, at what point in this movie did that happen?
sharenothing is wrong with your tv,dvd, its the way the movie wasn't edited. The sound editing was terrible. I ended up just lowering the volume so i don't go deaf from the special effects and have subtitles for the important dialog. lol
There is a quick 10-15seconds at the very beginning of the film where Jeffrey says he knew other people like him, not that they could see the dead, but one could talk to them. That is Dana's father. The father slams his head on the table, and jumps on top of Jeffrey and starts clawing at his stomach. It was a very quick 10-15second scene. Overall what a terrible movie.
It felt very much like a Lommel film, extremely uninteresting characters, zero charisma, and absolutely terrible sound editing. Outside of the ghost killing Dana at the end, what was the point of the ghosts? It seemed like more of a revenge flick because Jeffery wanted to find Dana and kill Paul.
Do you actually think Dana and Paul's father jumped on Jeff and started mauling him? After seeing his interactions with other humans, I am suspect of how realistic his interpretation of past events has been. I'd put my money on Jeff killing Old Dana AND the Witch Doctor out of delusional "self defense."

You make a great point because for many of the scenes I was wondering if they were really happening or just in his mind. I'm just glad I watched this for free on FearNet and didn't rent it!
