Why Even Bother? Yes, *Spoilers*

Besides the horrid technical aspects of the film, namely the sound and the editing, the plot never takes shape and the story is never resolved. I don't know if the filmmaker was trying to leave the end open for interpretation by the audience or what, but he didn't really tell us enough of anything to gather a conclusion about! Half of the movie seems like a horror movie, and after Jeff is put in a coma, the movie suddenly switches to a crappy detective film.

So Jeff is just walking by Dana in the beginning and stops her to ask if she sees the dead girl in the alley. What?! So Dana is part of this revenge scheme that involves walking by Jeff enough times until he talks to her or what? What are the chances?!

Why doesn't her brother pop out of the alleyway right there and nail him? I mean, apparently Philly is pretty much abandoned and there aren't any people around to witness it anyway! What's the point of even dragging it out to the point where, not only is Dana alone with this supposed psychopathic killer, but they send him alone to their poor blind aunt's house?! What?! What if he were to freak out on her right then and there? Just one of the ignorant plot developments in the story.

...And who signs a picture "Love Sis" to give to her brother? Nobody.

The brother beats Jeff in the head with a bat and fists and puts Jeff into a coma. Ok, well surely when Jeff wakes up (two years later!) he'll have some sort of brain damage. Nope. Jeff wakes up with a little muscle atrophy and seems to be up and re-habed in no time.

What's with the scene near the end where he hands the cabbie money and says "stay here" and then he goes inside forever?

And how about a little character development? I mean, Jeff's uncle didn't even have to be in the movie at all. He was just a distraction to the plot. He had no part in moving the story forward except for maybe exposition purposes. All his scenes could have been left on the cutting room floor. Near the end he comes over in the middle of the night looking for Jeff. Why?! What the hell was that about. If something happened between him and Jeff, there needs to be more exposition, not just "the uncle is trying to find Jeff...now Jeff is leaving house".

Also the mugging scene had no purpose except to expose the technical error of Jeff miraculously healing his calf after having is sliced by a box cutter. Totally worthless scene meant to make sure the movie was 80 minutes.

And the locations... It looks like the shelter/soup kitchen and the Aunt's house were the same place! The scene where Jeff, Dana, and her brother drive to Aunt Dana's house seemed like they drove the van in a circle around the block and got out again. And the hospital room was pretty bad too.

I don't know. I could go on but why? It won't make this movie any better. And it won't make sense of the story. Was Jeff just a crazy killer? Was he actually seeing ghosts? "Who knows", the filmmaker says! "That's for the audiences to figure out!"

Unfortunately, all the inane, needless plot, and the annoying sound and editing, and the horrible acting winds up being too distracting to really engage yourself in the story enough to really care about the answers to these questions. In fact, because these questions aren't wrapped up in "a neat little bow" at the films conclusion just leaves you that much more frustrated!

You're not into sarcasm, are you? I think they should all be wearing neon signs above their heads.
