Give or take a few minor details....this plot sounds exactly like "The Gospel" with Boris Kodjoe and Idris Elba.

1) dying father 2)jealous sister/friend 3) free spirited individual

Are there churches that operate like that anyway....Pastors can't just decide to let their child take over a church. There is a church board and the board votes and decides.

LLLLOOOLLL - Okay I hear you director (or director's personal assistant). well I wish you the best cause I am from the church and I like church related movies and I tend to watch them but they get kind of cliched and formulaic.

And as a filmmaker and a church goer I get kind of annoyed sometimes.....but seeing as the film has - who seems to be Amiri's daughter as the writer......there is definitely hope.

I hear you. From one Artist and Church goer to another, keep the faith. Rhonda did an amazing job!!!! Assistant?! Thats a good idea!! I'll think about getting one. question? what do you think about the teaser photo?

I think its aesthetically pretty (not sure if that is the appropriate word) ......its crisp, I like the cloud effect. It doesn't, however say much about the movie, other than highlighting who is in it. But then its the "teaser" right??? (in which case it serves its purpose) Its not the official one?

2 QUESTIONS - are the bare feet symbolic of something.....and the choice of who is wearing black and who is wearing white?

Yes!! This is only the teaser. Much more to come. I just wanted to introduce some of the main characters also to give everyone a taste of the quality to come. Glad to see you get it and can appreciate our work. The bare feet is very symbolic. I cant give away why just yet, sorry. You have to wait to see the movie.... The color of the outfits happen to workout with the tone of some of the characters as well as the best picture of them...You are so awesome!!! Thank you for your responses and questions. God Bless

Wow what a wonderful journey movie... Where are your shoes child? This truly reminds us to hold on in spite of our trials and tribulations. Faithful when your faith is tested. We can be of good cheer for all days aren't sorrowful.The good makes it all worthwhile. Thankful even for a gleem of light in your darkest hour we call Hope.

i dont care what y'all say, this movie will NOT...be good.

hate church movies. their ironic, hypocrite, and every church goer i kno is either an a$$ hole, or a b..tch. the epitome of fake christian. but i'll see it jus like i said i would "The Gospel", and HOW did that movie turn out? *holds ear*
