You HIGHLY doubt a movie called "Stacy's Mom" about kids falling in love with their friend's mom has ANYTHING to do with a song called "Stacy's Mom" about a kid falling in love with his friend's mom?

Trivia Section:
The film is based on the 2003 Fountains of Wayne song of the same name.

This film never should have been made. Who writes a 90 minute film off of a pop song. Ridiculous waste of time.

Not to mention "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," performed by Cyndi Lauper. That movie stars a very young Sarah Jessica Parker.

...not to mention that the very first scene has Stacy's mom pointing out that the kid mowing lawn "missed a right over there."
